36 Hours of Keystone

This is similar to a 24 hour bike race but more of a party. Essentially lifts turn from 9 am on Friday to 9 pm on Saturday. Teams (2-4) must make 1 run every hour to be eligible for the drawing. All the teams meeting this requirement are put into a hat and they draw names for prizes - $3600 for 1st, $1800 for 2nd, $900 for 3rd, and $450 for 4th. They give lots of prizes away as well.

The boss was pushing around snow most of the night so I manned the grill. Adventure Point fed all of the employees from 6 pm to 3 am - burgers, dogs, and chili. Everyone was thankful, I got really tired, and had a lot of fun grilling at 11,000 feet. It snowed most of the night and I even saw a few streakers, must have been a little cold for them.

Well we got about a foot of snow overnight and I think I'm head for Breckenridge for a few hours of skiing.

Sadly no, resort is pretty strict on that. But it was enough fun without, somewhat.
