Quickie

Snowshoed on Tuesday, spectacular day with temps hitting the high 30s and the sun never disappearing. Hiked up to Continental falls and Mohawk lakes to realize everything looks different with all that snow. The cabin proved difficult to find but after circling the valley it came into view.

Don't remember the name of the peak, but I am almost sure it is Helen's.

An elk track, at least I think it is an elk track. Don't know any snowshoe that can make than imprint.

It is days like these that make me want to stay but then I realize how awesome Iowa is. 82 ski days in and counting and nearly 100 km of nordic. Well off to another day at the office.
