So there I was...

...admiring rock walls and the Colorado River along Highway 128 just outside Moab, when a 4-Runner punches it past me. I glimpsed at the awesome bikes on make (an S-Works Carbon hardtail and a mini Orbea Alma) pretty sweet I thought. Wholly crap, the driver slams the breaks and is now neck and neck with me going down the two lane highway. Simultaneously Kim Eppen and I exclaim, "Holy Shit!".

Wow, fancy meeting the Eppens in Moab. Well since we are both just getting into town and Brian seems itchy from some riding we decide to hit Slickrock. Let me say tis was absolutely amazing, to ride on rocks that give you the most amazing traction. The first 20 minutes on the bike felt extremely foreign to me but it all came back. And after today's ride at Porcupine Rim I can say, "Cam, watch out cause I'm coming for ya."

Now less words more pictures...

Good old Greg.

A view at a rest area, damn Colorado has some awesome rest areas.

Off Highway 128 in Utah, not too long before I saw the Eppens.

Sand Flats Road, pure climbing all the way to the Porcupine Rim Trail.

Don't hit the beautiful flowers.

Scenery.

More scenery.

Yes, more.

Oh no, the trail drops off into the abyss.

Even more.
