JJ and company put on an awesome weekend. Looked a little suspect when you first drove through the corn field but once it was all underway - good times. Day one involved G.W. in a thong, sunshine, and mud; I got 5th. Day two involved 30 mph winds, 60 mph gusts, pizza hand-ups, beer hand-ups, Slim Jim hand-ups, and Boone's Farm hand-ups; I got 4th.
A pushed it past the comfort zone both days and came out not feeling that bad the next day. I took beer hand-ups both days, though none of the other stuff. I pulled a dollar out of G.W.'s thong and Geoff stuffed $5 down my jersey cause I bested Dr. Kdarylson, the K is ksilent.

Getting carbs and motivation on Saturday.

Watching Geoff lay down some old man strength against Pete on Sunday.

How to entertain Wilby and Janey: step 1 give them a blanket, step 2 walk away.

Ready to go, tongue already hanging out at Sunday's start.

that "carbo loading" is a tricky deal, eh? gotta get it just right!
And as we found out in Bettendorf cans are always easier than cups.
great job this weekend Andy, you rode really strong. Gotta love cx course like these, a little more mtb friendly then road friendly.
That pic just kills me looking back at it now. It will serve to push me in all of my future sprints. Great race though, Geoff rode strong and smart.
