re-Exploration

Coming back to Keystone this year felt familiar and it didn't feel as though 6 months had passed since I left. First off don't get me wrong I love Colorado but...this time of year is hard to deal with.

I had three reasons listed but I think that an excerpt from an article in Mountain Gazette put it best:

November is the quiet month in a mountain town. Summer long past, and the bustle of foliage-seeking tourists has fallen off like the aspen and birch leaves. Half the town is out on vacation ... before the snow restarts the local economy.

Having moved in completely now I get to focus on other things; like books, hiking, and maybe getting a second job. See I was offered a job at Gorsuch as a ski tech on a part time basis. Hopefully the guy would be cool with me being in there only a couple days a week, we shall see today.

I leave you with a picture of Ten Mile Creek west of Frisco from Saturday's hike.
