Boxing Day, in most other countries, is the day of goodwill but in the United States it has become a shopping day with "after Christmas sales." Here in Apartment 201 Boxing Day was a goodwill dinner for all the friends. I was lacking on pictures of the event yet again, except for the pies...

The main course consisted of a rump-roast crusted in horseradish and garlic, done with veggies all around. Made an au jus out of the delicious drippings. Next to that was a sweet potato and banana casserole with brown sugar and pecan topping. Beef stock is currently cooking away for some French onion soup. Anyone hungry yet?
I hope everyone's holiday time was better than expected. Mine wasn't too bad considering I had to work through it with no family time, the price I pay for working out here.
