Made the first visit of the season to Frisco Nordic Center today. Thought the snow would be perfect for skating along, alas I forgot that it all melted yesterday and then froze up. Since there isn't much coverage it appears that they aren't in their normal grooming routine. Made for some icy going, quite fun on the down hills.
Aside from less-than-perfect snow, it was a great day. Got in a great workout just in time to avoid the storm on its way.
