OR Show ReCap

Left on Thursday morning for the Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City. I was driving all of 30 minutes when I passed Vail, realized the lifts were about to open, and the snow was pretty good. Had to stop, got in a couple hours and it was back on the road...

Arrived in SLC just in time to meet up with Austin and Lexi for dinner and drinks. Went to the show on Friday for a few hours, exhausted that so I bummed around downtown for awhile.

Saturday came and so did the snow, about 13" of it at Alta. That is where I was headed and jumped over the mountain to Snowbird and back again. The absolute wettest snow I'd ever skied in my life, still fun. With some sore knees around 3 it was time to call it a day.

Lexi and Austin didn't attend the show on Sunday so we headed off to Brighton for some skiing. Very cool place and I highly recommend it if anyone is ever out in Salt Lake, small time ma and pa sort of place, cool vibe. Oh and the 13" of new snow, on top of the previous foot, helped too.

So to sum it up great snow and lots of good times with some very cool reps and retailers. Oh and one very eventful night of doing CPR on a gun shot victim, long story so we shall leave it there.

Love the opening, gotta stop for turns.
Brighton was one of my favorites as well. Alta was great simply for the lack of boarders.

Definitely need to hear more about how your night ended up that way.
