Bound for Denver

Its snowing, so I'm in a good mood. That said, why is Obama headed to Denver to sign the stimulus package? A little fact checking reveals that fueling a 747 costs just under $500,000, then pay the crew, the airports for landing, and take off. This bill could just be as easily signed in the Oval Office.

In times of "economic crisis" such as these people tend to not travel as much, and Vail Resorts reflects this. Why does our government, which is so concerned about the economic state, spend this much money to sign a bill to get us out of the "economic crisis"?

Side note: this bill will not get us out of the "economic crisis." Iowa has the 6th best unemployment rate in the country and is the number one wind producer too.
