Wrong Order

So we have 4" of new snow as of 5:30 this morning and it has yet to stop, I suspect a few more are in store for us today. Yesterday was sunny and somewhere in the low 50s. I thought winter came before spring.

Oh yesterday, what a wonderful day - I didn't have to work first of all. I awoke to a crying employee, handled that best I could a decided there needed to be a meeting post work (over beers of course). After that I headed to the golf course for a little cross-country action. After 2 laps I sped up the pass to A-Basin for a few hours of tele-ing. I was planning a snowshoe at Peru Creek, but it was way too nice out for more snow adventures. Back to the apartment, put the road bike together and headed up to Montezuma. Before leaving I had to scarf down a couple fish tacos while the bike got the once over.

All-and-all a great day, always fun skiing and biking in the same day. I once again have the legs for riding but not the lungs yet. I could have been the 1000 foot elevation gain (topping out at over 10,000 ft) in 5 miles but I should be used to that by now. Looked at race calendars last night, might be back in Iowa for Old Cap.

Still no pictures, camera hopefully gets back today. And a bowling party tonight too, oh yeah.
