Woke at 5 and met Rick at 6:10. A nice little spin over to warm up the legs then some Hillside rounds: frontwards, backwards, nearly everything twice, and don't forget some Rollercoaster to start and finish.
Off to dish out the peoples' caffeine and eggs until 1 and then back for some more. Heard rumor that Denman's was a no go, but I decided to see for myself. Water in all the typical spots and mud in the same. Shawn Johnson had a little water which added some to the coolness factor. Did a few there and then back towards Hillside. Saw the Lebeda family out in full force, Hanser getting his napping laps in, and Wild Bill too. Glad to hear Wild Bill is coming back to Des Moines (actually West Des Moines) but sadly I wont be.
All and all a great day to be alive. Off to Iowa City tomorrow to catch up with those hooligans. And though I race for and represent Rassy's I have to spread the word about Geoff's new threads. Can anyone guess the man behind the design...hmm lets think...argyle...who could it be?
