Got on 80 and just kept going west. Photos will be much better than me trying to describe brown, barren Nebraska.

After getting a hotel in Fort Morgan, CO (only $10 than camping with a free breakfast) I was off again. Headed for Rocky Mountain National Forest only to find out that the highway through was closed for the season. Oh well back through Estes Park for this:

Found this church along the way, don't know who attends but definetly the coolest building and locale I've seen yet.

Jason and I went for a hike in the backyard, and found a fort.

View from atop the fort, Keystone is desperately trying to pump out some snow. I'll learn all about the soon up on the Tubing Hill.

Work starts in full force next week, Monday to Friday making the snow and grooming it into some knarly tubing runs. Been riding some singletrack and hiking the hills in town, finding out which bars serve the best of what, meeting some interesting folks, and learning that when ski season isn't in full swing resort towns are like ghost towns. I leave you with a picture of the best I could do for a ski bench in the apartment.

Yeah only a few days and I already love it, just a little weird living in a resort town that is currently a ghost town.
