Spring Hasn't Cometh

With night skiing ending and temps nearing the 50s I began to get the itching to ride some bikes. But no, Sunday night and all day Monday it dumped on us. So far accumulation is around a foot and hasn't stopped. So much for two wheels, back on two planks.

Having the next two days off I decided it is time again for a little get away. Since there is even more snow now and pretty mild temps I think a ski into the cabin is a must.





Have to work again on Thursday, but now I only work 6 hour days since the whole night skiing thing is done. Then it is off to Denver to hop a plane back to Des Moines for the weekend. Time to start the whole fireman process again. Maybe I'll have to stop by the races, though I wont be partaking.

Off to pack for my adventure.
