It feel like the last year went by pretty quick and here I am again in Colorado. This time I plan to stay a while, instead of just through winter. Well great weather on the drive out with Dad, but once we got here temperatures went south and the wind picked up. Though with temps dropping mother nature was allowed to drop a couple inches of the white stuff yesterday. Most of it is still there but melting.
The past few days have been made up of moving in and filling out paper work. My housing situation is much improved from last year: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fireplace, and furnished (pleather in the living room). The roommate, Tanner, will be here sometime early next week. So life is pretty good, save for the fact I don't know if I'll be getting back on the bike for about 5 months. Not only have temps dropped here but Moab looks to be getting wicked cold too, so I wont be heading over.
Enough with words, I'll leave you with some pictures of the new pad.

The bedroom, turns out they gave me a double bed this year (movin' on up) but only brought twin sheets with me.

A view out my bedroom window.

The living room complete with gear corner, and if you are planning on visiting that on the left is your bed.

A view out the front door.
And with that I'm off for a hike.

too bad it's cold in moab.. it was 107 when i was there. :)
Where is the link to the couch reservation calendar?
Blue, 107 is almost worse than mid-30s.
Tom, post your reservations in the comments section or just show up. Though the latter may give you a couch-mate.
Screw that, I'm bringing a cot. Or even better I found this igloo making tool on REI.....not kidding http://www.rei.com/product/724066
