What to do?

When I first arrived in Keystone my dad and I were wandering around the village. After poking our heads in a few stores I was offered a job as a part-time ski-tech. I wasn't out looking for a job and I don't know how the conversation transpired, a few days later I stopped in for an application.

Fast forward ... A few days ago I received a call from the manager following up on the offer. I have so far accepted working on my only two regular days off - Monday and Tuesday. It sounds as if I will be working, on average, 12 hours per week. Not bad but I'm realizing my ski time will be cut into, the major motivating factor for me moving back out here.

I suppose this is part of "growing up" but it is hard to grasp I will have to be sacrificing my pleasures for work. Up until this point, not a subject I have had to decide. I apologize if this seems like whining but I don't think that we should have to sacrifice our pleasures just to make more money. Damn...

On another note check this song out, cool video too.

Welcome to life man. For the great majority the question will always be money or pleasure. While they don't have to be mutually exclusive, it often seems that way. Just make sure that you don't chase the money so hard that when you take some time for pleasure you're too burned out to enjoy it. Trust me, it happens.

Rick, thanks for the advice.

Blue, keep fighting the good fight and I will too.

Chad, it has been falling ALL day. They are expecting 1 to 2 feet and all the back bowls open tomorrow.
