Outage and Vacation

Well my computer had a little problem, thus the slacking of updates. So I love coffee but turns out the Mac doesn't like it quite as much as I do. It had a cup and I quickly dried it off and took it apart as much as I could. Came home after work, put it back together, said a little prayer, and turned it on. Praise the Mac Gods, it works! This little guy can survive a cup of coffee and still be in tip top shape.

The next topic: vacation. Though my life sometimes seems like a paid vacation, I'm off to Salt Lake City today to party it up Mormon style. I'm meeting Austin and Lexi from Backcountry in Des Moines there for the outdoor show, a little skiing wont hurt either. The weather has been ridiculous lately, highs in the upper forties and I can't remember the last time it snowed. But Mr. Weatherman says it is supposed to snow for the next 5 days, at least.

I leave you with pictures of what I did on inauguration day. . .

Making tracks in Bergman Bowl.

From whence I came.

The wind-blown top and a burn over in Breckenridge.

These tracks kept getting added to all day, which means the KAT guys were going here. Meaning it is good snow, but I was leery since it is south facing. Turned out to be not half bad, except for all the other tracks.

Side note: Does anyone know why my computer is suddenly decided to not import video like it once did?
