The Internets

The internets are in a funk right now, thus the gap in posting. Will try to figure that out but in the mean time Steaming Bean is a great place for updates.

Burns begin again today and I pulled swing shift: noon until 10 pm. Legs are a little sore today after felling trees, stripping them, and hucking the rounds. I've decided to not touch a bike today, a rarity lately.

Over the weekend I had an awesome ride with the Iowa boys that have subsequently gone back to the flatlands. It was sunny, it rained, it hailed. The last downhill into Breck was during the aforementioned hail and pouring rain. Good times were had and smiles were worn.

Saturday brought my first two 14ers, Torrey's and Gray's. Big crowds and about 3" of new snow up top. The adventure started with a 4 wheeling adventure up a rutted out jeep road. On the way back down the road I found out I could fit 8 people in the back. Who wants to walk down when they can hang out in the bed?

Sunday was an easy ride in Leadville around Turquoise Lake and a little of the Colorado. Stopped by Melanzana to spend some of that hard earned RAGBRAI cash. If you haven't ever heard of this place check it out. All the wears are made in house and built to last, if you can't make it to Leadville they will deliver.

Since the internets are not cooperating, no thanks to Al Gore, the latest video is taking a little longer. I foresee the next post involving it.
